Privacy notice

Last updated 30 October 2026

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.

In short

  • We collect what you send us, and what we need to run our products for your organisation.
  • We use it to reply to you and to deliver what you’ve asked for. Marketing only ever happens with your consent.
  • We never sell your data. A few trusted providers help us run the site and our email.
  • Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, or deleted sooner if you ask.
  • This website sets no cookies today. If that changes, we’ll ask you first.
  • You can access, correct or delete your data, or complain to a regulator, at any time.

01Who we are

This notice explains how Apporine (“we” or “us”) handles personal data when you use this website, contact us or use our products. Apporine is operated by its founders and is in the process of incorporation in England and Wales. Until incorporation completes, the founders operating Apporine are the controller of your personal data: they decide why and how it is used, and you can reach them at contact@apporine.com. Our registered company details will be published here as soon as registration completes.

02What we collect

We collect three kinds of personal data.

  • Enquiry details. When you use our contact form: your name, business email, company and country, the type of request and your message, plus anything optional you choose to add (job title, phone, company website, industry and company size).
  • Product account data. When your organisation uses Relyxus or Veryion: the names, business email addresses and roles of the people it authorises, and a record of what they do in the product, as set out in your contract.
  • Website usage data. This website does not use analytics today. If we add an analytics tool, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

To deliver the website and protect it from abuse, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. When you send the contact form, we hold your network address in memory for up to one hour, to stop repeated automated messages.

03Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • Responding to your enquiry: our legitimate interests in answering the people who contact us, and in building a working relationship with them.
  • Providing our products and services: the performance of our contract with you or your organisation.
  • Marketing: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
  • Keeping this website and our systems secure: our legitimate interests in protecting our services and the people who use them.

04Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run Apporine, such as our website hosting, email delivery and business email providers, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. Each is bound by a contract that protects your data. We never sell your data.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a court or a regulator.

05International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Where they do, we protect your data with the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or we rely on an adequacy decision for the country concerned.

06How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
  • Product account data: for the term of your contract, then as long as the contract and the law require.
  • The network address held to stop automated messages: up to one hour.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected if it’s wrong;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email contact@apporine.com. We’ll respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom, or to the data protection authority where you live. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
